I negotiated a special discount for the CheckMyBodyHealth Hair Sensitivity tests that I’ve used in the past – you can get $5 off your first order by using my link and the discount code “LippyLadies”!

I’ve tested myself three times now. Although I swear I had never been sensitive to wheat and dairy previously – the first test shows a mild intolerance – and the second a high intolerance! So I believe I’ve recently become intolerant and it’s increased over time.

Also – the first test shows no sensitivity to eggs – so I tried reintroducing…. The first time I had no weight gain/ loss, the second a 0.25 lb gain and the third a 1 pound gain. The second Hair test after these trials shows I’m now Highly Intolerant.

The last piece of info — the first test shows no sensitivity to almonds… and during the 3 months between tests, my weight began stalling. The second test showed almonds, and once I cut out the almonds – my weight began dropping!! I was having 1-2 almonds a day around lunchtime. The highlighted dot is the day I cut out almonds. (Edited to add: Now I’ve tried reintroducing almonds, and I have a definite sinus reaction each time I’ve tried, whereas I previously had no reaction to almonds!)

I like their product and what it has done for me so much that I am a #CheckMyBodyHealthAmbassador. Going through this link won’t cost you any more than going through any other link – it’ll actually give you an extra 5% off (in conjunction with other codes!).

Edited to add:

For full disclosure – I would like to add this article, providing the opposite view on Food Intolerance tests. You are all ladies capable of weighing the information on both sides, and making your own decisions.

As I had previously mentioned, I thought I’d try the test (since it was relatively inexpensive), and see what it told me. I felt that the test has identified items I was just realizing were issues for me through my elimination diet – so it has seemed reasonable. I like using it as a baseline and testing from there. Over time intolerances will change – so I try to get a test done every so often to see if how things have changed. It seems that it has tracked well for me.

Could it still be hooey? Yes, I completely admit it could.

But, Since I’ve had so many “medical mystery” things happen to me, that hasn’t be explained “by science”, and I’ve had so many people not believe me (like gaining 6 pounds from eating one 35 calorie scallop), that I’m not going to pretend that all science is known and understood.
